Meet Tara, the visionary founder of Help Pregnancy Center, established back in 1991. Her life’s mission centers around providing support to women facing crisis pregnancies, guiding them towards choosing life for their precious children. As the guiding force behind the ministry, Tara dedicates herself to overseeing its operations with unwavering commitment.

One of Tara’s key responsibilities is to educate local churches about their vital role in the ministry. Tara eagerly shares her knowledge and experiences with others. Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director

Meet Anna, our dynamic Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director. Since joining us in February 2024, Anna has become an indispensable part of our team.

In her multifaceted role, Anna supports Tara, our Executive Director, ensuring seamless operations by managing schedules and coordinating key activities. She also plays a vital role in volunteer onboarding, fostering a sense of community among our dedicated team.

Director of Operations/Finance

Jill is the indispensable backbone of our ministry’s financial and operations department. Since joining our team in January 2017, she has been the driving force behind the seamless functioning of our organization.

In her role, Jill handles diverse tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing purchasing, handling insurance matters, maintaining donor records, and managing donations. Not stopping there, she also takes charge of human resources, diligently processing payroll, taxes, and banking requirements. Her proficiency in handling these crucial aspects of our ministry is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Despite the weight of her responsibilities, Jill consistently delivers her tasks with remarkable precision and timeliness.

Client Service Coordinator

Since joining us in January 2024, Joy has been the cornerstone of our client services as the Client Service Coordinator. Fostering a seamless connection between our staff, volunteers, and clients, Joy ensures unparalleled care for the incredible moms and babies we serve.

Client Services Coordinator, Spanish

Meet Elena, the heart and soul behind our Spanish-speaking department, where she serves as the overseer and coordinator. With a deep-rooted passion and love for the Hispanic community, Elena has become a driving force in our mission to support and empower those in need.

In her role, Elena works closely with our Spanish-speaking peer counselors and teachers, ensuring that our clients receive the support and guidance they require. Her dedication to the cause is evident as she personally counsels clients, providing them with a listening ear and a compassionate heart and skillfully interpreting to bridge any language barriers. She also takes charge of coordinating our P3 program, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those she serves.

Rachel Svistun

Client Services Coordinator/Office Administrator, Indian Trail

Client Case Manager

Vandy joined us in March 2023 as our Client Services Coordinator and moved into the role of Client Case Manager in early 2024. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring our clients receive the support they need. In her role, Vandy takes charge of helping our clients get access to the support, educational and financial resources they need.  Her coordination and organization skills are unparalleled, and she ensures that our clients receive the assistance they require to navigate through challenging times.

Her inspiration and motivation are drawn from her faith, finding strength in 1 Peter 4:10-11, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.” Vandy embodies this principle, as she serves the women in our community with fervor and enthusiasm.

Office Administrator

Meet Lisa, the dependable force behind the scenes, coordinating administrative duties for both our dedicated staff and volunteers. As the heart of our front desk operations, she manages a multitude of essential tasks, ensuring the seamless functioning of our ministry.

With a wealth of experience, Lisa’s journey with us began as a volunteer in 2003, and her unwavering commitment led her to join our staff in 2004. Since then, she has become the anchor that holds down the administrative side of our organization, handling various responsibilities with skill and efficiency. From managing schedules and client files to handling correspondence and mailings, Lisa’s organizational prowess leaves no detail overlooked.

Her unwavering inspiration stems from 1 Corinthians 13:13, where she finds strength in the enduring qualities of faith, hope, and love. Embracing the greatest of these, love, Lisa exemplifies compassion and care in her interactions with both colleagues and clients. Marketing Coordinator

Meet Rebekah, a dedicated Spanish-speaking volunteer who began her journey with us in October 2020. Her commitment and enthusiasm for our cause led her to join our staff in January 2023.

As our marketing coordinator, Rebekah plays a crucial role in shaping our organization’s image and outreach. She skillfully manages all our digital and print promotional materials, ensuring they effectively convey our mission and values. Additionally, Rebekah extends her support to Brittany by assisting with event planning and promotion. Her attention to detail and creativity add value to our events, making them impactful and memorable.

Rebekah’s true passion lies in sharing the Gospel and spreading the love of Jesus among the women who seek refuge in our center. Position Available

Development Coordinator

In this role, our development coordinator organizes and manages fundraising efforts. Responsibilities include:
  • Event planning
    Scheduling and planning fundraising events, managing event budgets and resources, and monitoring staff and volunteer calendars
  • Donor relations
    Coordinating donor relations stewardship and recognition plans, managing donor communication strategies, and maintaining donor information
  • Community relations
    Assisting with marketing of programs, services, and fundraising opportunities

     The ideal candidate for this role would be an outgoing self-starter who is organized and motivated to connect with our existing donors, cultivate new relationships, and execute our annual fundraisers. This role also works closely with our marketing coordinator.

Helping Hands Coordinator

Allow us to introduce Sue, a remarkable and cherished member of the Help Pregnancy for over two decades. With unwavering dedication, she serves as the heart and soul of our Helping Hands Clothing Ministry, leaving a lasting impact on all who come through our doors.

As the face, hands, and feet of this vital ministry, Sue and her team work tirelessly to coordinate, organize, and prepare all the donated supplies to be distributed to our clients. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that each item is ready to bless those in need. She fills orders with care and compassion, recognizing the significance of what these supplies mean to those we serve. Her commitment to keeping detailed records reflects her deep commitment to serving others with excellence.

Her humble attitude shines through as she attributes all provision to “Our Provider,” acknowledging the blessings that allow us to carry out our mission. Helping Hands Assistant

Meet Ruth, the invaluable right-hand woman to Sue in our Helping Hands department. Her unwavering dedication and commitment to our ministry make her an amazing asset to our team. She goes above and beyond, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that these women have the necessary resources to care for their families.

Medical Administrator

Allow us to introduce Dani, a remarkable individual whose journey with our ministry began as a volunteer in February 2022. Recognizing her exceptional skills and dedication, we were thrilled to have her join our staff in February 2023. As a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Dani serves as the medical Administrator at Help. In her role, Dani is responsible for coordinating schedules and supervising all medical volunteers, both in-house and on our Mobile Ultrasound unit.

Overseeing our prenatal medical clinic and the Abortion Pill Reversal Program, Dani’s commitment to providing compassionate and quality care shines through in every aspect of her work. Her ability to connect with clients and show genuine empathy and care is evident in every interaction. Additionally, Dani personally performs a significant percentage of the ultrasounds for our clients in-house, utilizing her expertise to offer essential insights and support during their journeys.

With Dani’s invaluable contributions, our medical department is well-equipped to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. Her leadership ensures that our medical services run smoothly and efficiently, reaching out to those in need on a consistent basis. Sonographer, Marvin

Introducing Monica, a dedicated and compassionate member of our team who joined us as a volunteer in February 2022 then joined our staff in December of the same year. Since then, Monica has played a crucial role in launching the Indian Trail satellite office, and now our Marvin satellite as well. 

Monica’s heart for the unborn and her deep love for Jesus are evident in every aspect of her work. With 25 years of experience as a sonographer in the medical field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to our team. Beyond her professional achievements, Monica shares a beautiful life with her husband, Mike, of 28 years. Together, they are blessed with two young adult children and two lively dogs that keep them on their toes.

As Monica serves, she finds inspiration in the words of 2 Timothy 1:8-9“…but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began…” Her dedication to this mission, coupled with her expertise and loving spirit, makes her a true blessing to our organization and the community we serve. Sonographer, Indian Trail

We are thrilled to introduce Juli Morrison, our dedicated sonographer at the Indian Trail Satellite Office. Juli joined our team in May 2024, bringing with her a wealth of expertise and a heart full of compassion for the mothers and babies we serve.

As our Indian Trail Staff Sonographer, Juli plays a vital role in our mission to support and empower women during pregnancy. She utilizes her skills to ensure the well-being of both mothers and their unborn children, offering essential ultrasounds that provide clarity and peace of mind.
