Counseling

The HELP Pregnancy Center offers free peer counseling for anyone in need. Our peer counselors can share information about many subjects and issues that are relevant to your life. If you prefer to speak with a man, please request a male counselor for your appointment. By attending a counseling session, you are able to receive children’s clothes up to size 6X, diapers, wipes, and various other children’s items. Counseling can be both a resource for you and a means to obtain necessities for your children. If you have any questions about peer counseling, call the Center at 704.289.5133.

Post-Abortion Counseling

We offer post-abortion counseling for men who are struggling with the aftermath of their child being aborted. Often, men either don’t have a voice in the decision to abort or they don’t realize that they may regret the abortion afterwards. If you are experiencing difficulty after an abortion, we have male counselors who can give you practical, Biblical advice on how to heal. No matter how long ago the abortion may have been, don’t hesitate to seek help now. Our peer counselors can help you find closure and healing.

Classes

You may also attend any of our regularly scheduled classes. Anyone can attend any class, and no class is limited by demographic. No appointment is necessary for class, just arrive at class time and sign in at the front desk. Classes cover a variety of topics, and you are welcome to ask the instructor any questions that you may have. The classes are designed for education and encouragement.

Monday:

Parenting Class  10:00 – 11:15am

Spanish Bible Study 10:00 – 11:15am

HELP for Moms (Support Group) 1:00 – 2:00pm

Tuesday:

Breastfeeding Class – 10:00 – 11:15am

Wednesday:

ESL Classes 10:00 – 11:15am

Thursday:

English Bible Study 10:00 – 11:15am

Pregnancy and Childbirth Classes 6:00 – 7:15pm

*These class times are subject to change or cancellation. You are welcome to call ahead to ask if we are having class on a certain day.
*In fairness to everyone, if you are more than 15 minutes late for class, you will not receive credit for that class, but you are still welcome to stay.

By attending classes, you are eligible to receive the following:

Maternity clothes 1 class
Layette 1 class
Used pack-n-play 1 class
New pack-n-play 4 classes
New car seat 4 classes
Used crib 3 classes
Good stroller 1 class
Double stroller 1 class

*The number of classes required to receive items may change at any time.
*Due to limitations on car seats or other equipment, we may not be able to fill your order when you ask for it. This may result in a waiting period.
